The MKL Gaels U15 girls team did Kerry proud last weekend as they took to the field at the prestigious All-Ireland U15 7s competition hosted by Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club.
Representing the Kingdom, the talented young squad delivered a strong performance in the group stages. They recorded impressive wins over both Down and Dublin, showcasing great teamwork, skill, and determination. Despite a narrow loss to Cavan, the team secured second place in their group and advanced to the Cup quarterfinals.
In the knockout stage, MKL Gaels faced a tough battle against a well-drilled Derry side. Despite their best efforts, the Kerry girls fell short — but not without leaving their mark on the tournament.
The club and community are immensely proud of the team’s achievements. Representing Kerry on a national stage is no small feat, and the girls’ performances throughout the day reflected their hard work, commitment, and passion for the game.
Well done to all involved — the future is bright for this talented group of players.
